[Maine-birds] Petit Manan NWR Blue-grey Gnatcatcher

Hello Folks,
   Jole Wilcox -Fairbanks and I birded Petit Manan today 9/9/12 and had a decent day.. 
 
The Hollingsworth Trail
   Black throated green warblers 3
   Commo yellowthroat 3
   Red eye vireo 1
   Black capped chickadee 5
   Red breasted nuthatch 2
   Golden crowned kinglet 3
   Song sparrow
   Grey catbird 1
   American robin 2
   Common raven 2
   Semi palmated plover 30ish
   Semi palmated sandpiper 12
   Least sandpiper 2
   Distant flock of scoters..probably Black
   Common eider x
   Red necked grebe 10
   Double creasted cormorant x
   Ring billed gull x
   Herring gull x
   Greater black backed gull x
   Laughing gull 2
   Bald eagle 1
   Great blue heron 1

    Black bellied plover (heard)

    BLUE GREY GNATCATCHER 1 (near the first parking lot, foraging in a mixed flock)

    Broad wing hawk 1 
 
Also - this morning at my place on Cooper st in Machias -  I was outside and heard a Broad wing hawk....it wasnt quite right (but still pretty good!).  I was looking, and looking and couldnt see anything from the direction of the call.....then a Blue jay popped out of the top of the trees!   Still lots of Bonneparts gulls in the Machias river behind Helens Restaurant
