[Maine-birds] Pinkham Bay (Steuben, Washington Cty) shorebirds today

Good afternoon all -- visited Pinkham Bay this morning around 7:15 a.m. on a falling tide. Many shorebirds were still up close.

My estimate of mostly peeps was 450 (most of these Semi Sands), plus 31 Semi Plovers, 17 Greater Yellowlegs, 18 Lesser Yellowlegs, and some distant Bonies.

Fewer birds were visible in Sullivan on the Rte 1 roadside pullout / rest stop, but then the tide was lower still.

Not a single BB Plover, and no Ruddy Turnstones.

Best,
Craig
