[Maine-birds] Re: Hills Beach

I think I saw those same 5 Red Knots just a short time later at Stage Harbor in Cape Porpoise! One had an orange leg band just as you have described - photos are here: http://flic.kr/p/frQXzC  . Other interesting birds in CP were a Whimbrel flying by, 8-10 Gannets, 2 White-rumped Sandpipers (photos also at link), and at least 3 Bank Swallows.
