[Maine-birds] solitary sandpiper

How wet was it? There are lakes now in our neighbors' yards--one featuring three visiting mallards and another a solitary sandpiper.

On this morning's bike ride I sheparded four live frogs across the road around the carnage of their friends (sorry). Not a good night to be a frog--unless an equal number made it across safely.
