Mississippi Kite seen briefly soaring over Kittery Point a few minutes
ago, heading northeast toward Seapoint Beach. Sorry, no pics. ID'd by
slender (non-buteo) silhouette, long narrow wings, squarish unfanned tail,
lighter patches before the primaries seen from underneath, but most
definitively by its piercing screams which match this recording.

Sounds very unusual, but there are some that have been breeding in
Newmarket, NH since 2008, and not far from here.
