Comments: S. Soucy Family from Mass. Two Osprey came close for good observations of attempted but aborted dives and discussion about flight pattern for Pandion. heliaetus. There is very little bird life on the Western Bay side mimicking the similar find on Hadley Point. Incredible views of the Glacial landscape of Blue Hill Bay and the Bald Eagle nest on Black Island. Unless I hear otherwise, it appears that these Black Island Eagles also failed this season after many years of high productivity.

Here the Penobscot Indians and early Americans knew of the sweet waters from this location and the lush 8000 year old White Cedar Bog system that are the core of TPBS.
