[Maine-birds] Bangor great egret

A half-hour walk in Essex Woods this morning provided my first great egret of the season there. The blue-winged teal were a treat, also.

Another great egret has been on private property in south Orrington since Sunday. Today it was joined by a second egret, along with an apparent family of five great blue herons.
