For the past week or so I have noticed a frog-like call at the edge of woods that sounds like a spring peeper or other frog. Quite rapid, multiple chirps that may or may not repeat as a bunch. I had thought there was such a thing as a fall peeper but can't find anything on Google. Is there are fall-calling frog that is similar to the spring peeper or did my memory create that on its own?
