Comments: Christine and Cameron (11) Greenlees from MD.  Working on avian communication skills with Cameron and the art of birding.  An active morning across the taxonomic spectrum with sunny skies and lower humidity in the 70's. Another excellent morning in a series of excellent days!! Any day birding is a great day.

Comments: Christine and Cameron from MD. Cameron is an 11 year old with a penchant for ornithology. A keen eye and quick study he saw quiet a number of birds here including a Black and White Warbler less than three feet from us and good close-up views of Spotted and and immature Solitary sandpiper

Wood Duck (Aix sponsa) 10 largest number of birds I have seen here to date. All of these were juvenile males

Solitary Sandpiper (Tringa solitaria) 1 YOY with clear banding exposed on the tail was a good comparison to Spotted Sandpiper for Cameron.
