Yesterday morning while doing a bird survey on the Salmon Falls River between Eliot, ME and Dover, NH I saw a great egret and a bald eagle fly by almost in unison. There was not any apparent animosity between the two... I only managed one picture, and it is not a good one at all, but it does serve to document the moment... I thought I would share it here. Other sightings included 2-3 GBHerons and a pair of greater yellowlegs.
