There were at least 16 Harlequin Ducks present at Dyer Point today in Cape Elizabeth. At Grondin Pond, there was a beautiful drake American Wigeon, an American Coot, a Green-Winged Teal, and a Pied-Billed Grebe. Also present were 16 Scaup which I originally thought they were all Lesser until I noticed at least two Greater, then I got confused. I was viewing from Woodview Dr and the Scaup were on the opposite end of the pond, stretching my Scaup identification capabilities.
Bird haahd,
