Lots of sightings around Schoodic Point yesterday. 3 bufflehead ducks,
two red-breasted mergansers, too many loons to count, but two
beginning to get adult plumage. One horned grebe, and a great day
with lots of sun. This juvenile bald eagle also just beginning to
get it's white head feathers.
I've been trying for a couple of year to photograph a purple
sandpiper. I've not succeeded in even seeing one...any tips.
Thanks,
Dave
