[Maine-birds] An Embolism of warblers - Florida Lake

Hit a huge swarm of Palmies and Myrtles today during a stroll around the lake.  After realizing they were in about equal numbers, I counted the Palmies with my clicker and arrived at 279.  I arbitrarily made that the total for Myrtles as well.  The kind of flight that hurts your neck and rejuvenates your senses.  Some Palmies singing; most Myrtles singing partial songs.

Also good number of RCkinglets.  They too singing partial calls or their 'cellophane' call.

Meanwhile...at Wharton Point (Maquoit Bay), 4 Laughing Gulls, and 2 G. Ibis were present.  Also a small bunch of 22  BBPlovers.  Numbers and ID of the latter were provided by a clammer landing his airboat.  He apologized for bothering them.  I thanked him for stirring them up.

(The odd-ball Little Blue Heron remains at Berry's Mill Pond.)
