Cindy and I took this little jaunt early this A.M. to see what we could see. Up the AT to summit of Little Bigelow, and back down. This is still a very birdy climb, but on the late date of Jul 08, not as birdy as my last climb, on Jun 13, 2010.
All the usual suspects were there (no Bicknell's Thrush) , but fewer of everything, and much quieter.
I really think the ridge over toward Avery Peak from summit of Little Bigelow, all at a little above 3K feet, is worth birding. We didn't do it this morning due to various aches and pains.
