[Maine-birds] Middle Bay Waterfowl

Middle Bay off Simpson Point in Brunswick has hosted several birds unusual in the summer in this area.  Up to 24 Black Scoters have been observed regularly.  Long-tailed Ducks, ranging from 2-7 birds have also been regular occurrences.  Single birds have included a Common Goldeneye until late June, a Greater Scaup for several days last week, and this morning an adult breeding plumage Red-necked Grebe.

Good birding,

Gordon
