[Maine-birds] Redpoll fatality

2/8
Have had a single Common Redpoll at my feeder for a week as of 2/7. At dark last night it was hunkered down on a branch beside my feeder, unusual as most of my feeder birds move to a dense Spruce nearby. This morning it was laying dead under the feeder. Possibly a rare case of naturally expiring due to weather and/or some other stress or illness?
