[Maine-birds] greater white-fronted goose in the usual stroudwater fields, and...

I checked the mouth of the Stroudwater River on Congress St where Noah, Rob, John and others found the GW-F goose yesterday for their 2015 year lists.  No geese on the water this morning at 1015am, so i drove out to the field where they were found repeatedly over the fall, and there it was, in all its glory.  if you go, it was in the second group furthest from the road.  both groups of about 40 Canada G were quite close.

Also took a run over to Thompson's Point where i found 3 Horned Larks foraging in the grassy patch furthest out on the point.  No sign of buntings.  Happy 2015 birding!
