I triple checked, and yes, I have a Chipping Sparrow pushing for its turn at the feeders in the pouring snow today. Thought I heard one yesterday -- less melodic than my Pine Warbler. So it must have arrived with the warmer weather poor dear.
Among the feeder crowd are FOY Bluejay, FOY male & female Purple Finches (not House Finches), FOY Song Sparrows, DEJuncos (eating suet too), Downy and Hairy WPs, Titmice, Mo Doves, Chickadees, N Cardinal Pair, WBNuthatches. 4:00pm and we must have at least 4 inches and it's still snowing.
