A N Flicker m. showed on a tree with many nesting cavities. He checked one where Wh br Nuthatches nested last year and started cleaning out debris. The Red-breasted WO came over and the Flicker left. Later while walking a trail off our driveway I flushed a Woodcock. It was my 1st but I got a good look at his long bill as he flew away.
