Bradbury Mountain State Park
Pownal, Maine, USA
(No count conducted today)
Weather:
The Bradbury Mountain hawkwatch was canceled today, due to inclement weather. Morning snow, with a change to rain, was the impetus for the shutdown.
Raptor Observations:
Non-raptor Observations:
Predictions:
Tomorrow should be brighter and drier than today. Cloud cover ought to diminish as the day progresses. Air temperatures could climb to the low 40s. I'm a little leery of the wind conditions for tomorrow. Strong winds have closed the count in the past, and appear to be a threat for Saturday. Current predictions are for northwest winds in the high teens to 20mph, gusting to the 30s. Certainly, things could change. If not, maintain a firm grip on your scope and let's hope for the best.
