[Maine-birds] Snowy in Trenton, and Bald Eagle doing the breast stroke in Bucksport

Hi all -- thanks to the ongoing watchful eyes of many, at least one Trenton Airport Snowy Owl was easily observed across from the entrance to Trenton Elementary School late this afternoon.

Mid-afternoon my wife and I watched an adult Bald Eagle land atop an Am. Black Duck just offshore of the Irving Station in Bucksport. It kept the bird submerged while it swam with its wings for shore. Pretty dramatic!
