[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 2/1-7

Hi all,

Just a handful of observations of note from relatively limited (for me!) birding this week:

- 1 Northern Shrike, Old Town House Park, North Yarmouth, 2/3.

- continuing GOLDEN EAGLE and 1 1st-winter Iceland Gull, Bath Landfill, 2/4 (with Jeannette).

- 15 Iceland Gulls (12 1st-winter, 2 2nd-winter, and 1 adult) and 3 Glaucous Gulls (2 1st-winter, 1 2nd-winter), Portland Harbor, 2/4 (with Jeannette).

- 2 Brant, Kettle Cove, Cape Elizabeth, 2/6.

- 11 Iceland Gulls (10 1st-winter and 1 adult) and 4 Glaucous Gulls (2 1st-winter, 2 adults), Old Port, Portland, 2/6.

- 3 drake Barrow's Goldeneyes continue in the Lower Harraseeket River here in South Freeport, usually between the Freeport Town Wharf and Winslow Park.
