For two hours yesterday a Barred Owl sat in a black walnut tree overlooking our feeder, surveying all the usual suspects...Cardinals, Blue Jays, Nut Hatches, Chickadees, Tree Sparrows, Doves, Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers. Talk about squirrel-proofing a bird feeder...
