[Maine-birds] Kentucky Warbler - Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, 14 May

There was a Kentucky Warbler (presumably the same one reported yesterday by Dianne Ballon) foraging near the brush pile at Evergreen Cemetery this morning around 7:10AM.

Taking the Forest City Trail (called Evergreen Cemetery Trail on Google Maps) past the gate out of the western side of the cemetery, the brush pile is up the hill if you follow the path to the left. If you continue past this first left, the next left takes you on a white blaze trail and you'll see a large rock face, where I lost the bird.

I'll be leading Maine Audubon's free "Warbler Walk" here tomorrow (and Thursday) at 7AM (and Capisic Pond on Friday). More details and a summary from last week's walks are available here: https://www.maineaudubon.org/news/warbler-walks-and-bird-a-thon/

Good birding,
