New/returning birds in the backyard this weekend:

Rose Breasted Grosbeak pair

Single catbird skulking in the forsythia, where they often nest

single male Rubythroated Hummingbird

Black&White Warbler

Black throated green warblers

returning pairs of purple finches and Goldfinches from a month's hiatus

Several Juncos continueing

Pair of Mallards visited the pond but with all the barnyard activity unlikely to stay.
