On Wednesday I had a flock of 11 purple finch that have stayed around all week. Usually I have four. They're mostly females but there are four males that are also hanging out. On Thursday afternoon I had a flock of 19 Pine Siskins that flew in. Yesterday the trees were filled with them and feeding at my feeders. There were 20 on the ground and even more up in the trees. They were still here as of this afternoon. I've never had this many this late in the year.
