A Snowy Egret is in the marshes off South Lubec Rd. currently (midday Friday May 10). It is easily seen from the parking lot to the left of Crow Town Gallery. The owner of the gallery (who alerted us to the egret) is bird- and birder-friendly. You can park in one of the spots to the right of the gallery and see the bird from there. If the gallery is open, you are welcome to come in and look through the back window. Otherwise, please stay in the parking area. The gallery is hosting special events several evenings this week, so please do not come after 5pm.
