Weather:
Another beautiful day to be outside. Winds were slightly stronger than expected. Winds were quite variable, starting out light out of the northwest teetering WNW through the morning, but quickly shifting south, then southeast through the afternoon hours.
Raptor Observations:
Migration was on the lighter side again, but with good diversity of species. Most notable was a Black Vulture at 1550 (EST).
Non-raptor Observations:
31 species were observed from the summit. Individuals deemed migrant included: 8 Tree Swallows 1 American Robin 1 Pine Warbler 3 Purple Finches 18 Common Grackles
Predictions:
Slightly cooler than today, but another day of nice weather. Winds are expected to be light, starting out northeast, turning east by mid-day, and southeast through the afternoon. If the winds stay light, birds may be moving.
