Heard on Monday night at 8:30; no screeching but the monotone continuous call up the hill behind my house. It has been several years since I last heard one-neat to listen to while standing outside with the almost full moon!
FOY tree swallows this past weekend as well as first Flicker yesterday as well as pair of Green winged Teal-nice close up view of them preening on a log.
Two red shouldered hawks flew over calling to each other Saturday...first I have ever heard them here.
Work schedule has been drastically reduced so am able to spend more time looking and listening!
