[Maine-birds] FOYs in the backyard in Cumberland this morning

Baltimore oriole - one male, so far, very vocal and very at the feeder

House wren pair checking out an old nest box I didn’t think anybody liked anymore

WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (maybe 2) almost escaped notice on the ground amongst the shrubbery

Black-and-white warbler working the trunk of the big willow

Finally a couple of Broad-wings circling

 

Also, Gray catbirds arrived over the weekend

Bluebirds fully engaged in this year’s box of choice

Phoebes building under the kayak in the barn again
