Visitors:
19 people visited the hawk watch today.

Weather:
Winds not at all what was predicted. The day started with very light and variable winds out of the north, picking up speed and settling south by mid-day, teetering slightly southeast through the afternoon before ending south. Mostly cloudy and a bit cooler on the summit today.

Raptor Observations:
Many birds were observed at a distance for most of the day, although a few flew closer to the summit in the afternoon hours. Migration activity was pretty intermittent, with a relatively steady slow trickle of migrants traveling through the area.

Non-raptor Observations:
46 species were observed from the summit today. Non-raptor individuals deemed migrating included: 1 American Robin 2 Brown-headed Cowbirds 2 Chimney Swifts 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers 4 Barn Swallows 17 Double-crested Cormorant 21 Tree Swallows

Predictions:
Let's see how accurate the weather allows the meteorologists to allow me to be. A little warmer than today, with some cloud cover. Winds are expected to be light starting out of the northwest, shifting north through most of the day before becoming more westerly by the end of the day. A slight chance of precipitation is predicted for the day, but nothing more than a slight drizzle if any. If winds stay light we may see some birds moving.
