[Maine-birds] Incredible birds today

There was a huge influx of White Throated Sparrows last night here at my place near Great Pond in Cape Elizabeth. Hundreds would not be an exaggeration, all through the woods and lawn edges. Pam Jordan and I birded almost five hours in the land trust trails around Great Pond. Dozens of Black and white Warblers, Ovenbirds everywhere, Nashvilles, RBGrosbeaks, Balt Orioles, BTgreen Warblers. I birded the same trails yesterday and encountered none of these. Wow! What an experience! What a difference a day makes this time of year.
Also just had a Wood Thrush in woods at the edge of my yard.
Welcome back, you guys!!
