[Maine-birds] Spring tapping woodpecker😊

Heard a very loud fast tapping of a woodpecker in the woods this morning; heard through a closed window. So welcome. Thought might be a Pileated, but when it flew, somewhat distant, was a smaller woodpecker. Still a welcome sound when the drive and paths to my house are all ice.
Chickadees and others singing too.
Sorry if this isn't a specific bird. I'd like to see more reports here.
