I have posted an update to the Birds of Monhegan Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/778377796965411 - covering notable sightings during the January-July 2026 period, highlighted by MISSISSIPPI KITE (the 343rd species for the island-observed by Jen Leitao and many others May 23-31), the 2nd record of Western Wood-Pewee (observed by Ingrid and Ethan Whitaker on May 27) and the first record of Loggerhead Shrike since 2001 (observed by Jesse Davis and others on June 7).
