We're improving our Terms of Service and making them easier for you to understand. The changes will take effect on March 31, 2020, and they won't impact the way you use Google services.

For more details, we've provided a summary of the key changes and Frequently Asked Questions. At a glance, here's what this update means for you:

•	Improved readability: While our Terms remain a legal document, we've done our best to make them easier to understand, including by adding links to useful information and providing definitions.
•	Better communication: We've clearly explained when we'll make changes to our services (like adding or removing a feature) and when we'll restrict or end a user's access. And we'll do more to notify you when a change negatively impacts your experience on our services.
•	Adding Google Chrome, Google Chrome OS and Google Drive to the Terms: Our improved Terms now cover Google Chrome, Google Chrome OS, and Google Drive, which also have service-specific terms and policies to help you understand what's unique to those services.
•	No changes to our Privacy Policy: We're not making any changes to the Google Privacy Policy and we haven't made any changes to the way we treat your information. As a reminder, you can always visit your Google Account to review your privacy settings and manage how your data is used.

If you're the guardian of a child under the age required to manage their own Google Account and you use Family Link to manage their use of Google services, please take some time to discuss these changes with them.

And of course, if you don't agree to our new Terms and what we can expect from each other as you use our services, you can find more information about your options in our Frequently Asked Questions.

[Maine-birds] mystery duck

Hi All,

The picture was taken 20 Feb. at Mattamuskeet NWR in North Carolina while we are birding our way back to Maine. The bird in the middle is my question. Is it a hybrid or what?

[Maine-birds] Singing creepers-Camden

While I've been seeing Brown Creepers throughout the winter, heard my first singing ones (three, in fact) this morning on Mt. Battie in Camden Hills SP. Also enjoyed a glimpse of the resident pair of Pileated Woodpeckers working on either side of the same tree.

[Maine-birds] Maine Birds

[Maine-birds] Maine Bird Atlas - New Wetlands Available for Adoption! Volunteers Needed!

Although there are still a few more weeks before the Maine Winter Bird Atlas' survey window closes, in just a few months our wetlands will fully thaw and our herons, bitterns, and rails will begin their northern flights back to their breeding grounds here in Maine.

After a successful first season of surveys, the Atlas' Secretive Marsh Bird Project has just added a great number of wetland survey sites all throughout the state. We are currently seeking volunteers to adopt and monitor these wetlands for secretive wetland bird species during the 2020 field season.

Here is a link to the project site with project info and a map of all the available wetlands: https://www.mainenaturalhistory.org/mebirdatlas-marshbirdsurveys. Click on any marsh of interest with the map for details on accessibility. While some wetlands can be easily accessed from the roadside, others will require a short hike or paddle. The level of adventure is up to you!

Act fast if you are interested in a particular marsh as these may be adopted quickly! Contact me at logan@hereinthewild.com to adopt your wetland and to receive more information regarding this exciting project.

FOY male grazing under feeder in Whitefield, 7:15 AM. Just creamy color to wing bars, and a lot of speckle still on his back. NOt singing yet. Our earliest sighting by a week for this guy!
