We saw a flock of tree swallows on Sunday at Annabessacook lake and wondered if they survived this week.
Also wondering about phoebes.
Saw 4 around the fields near Hall-dale Elementary School this afternoon. Hope they make it through the cold and precipitation of the next few days!
Not much evidence of flying insects to my human eyes...

It was a relief to see 20+ Tree Swallows had survived the cold and were flying around over Cobbossee Stream and nearby parking lots in Gardiner this afternoon.
