Re: [Maine-birds] Black-crowned Night Herons--Mercy Pond; NSHO Scar. Marsh

Stopped by and found a benefit to my nagging cough. I was trying to find a good angle on the two male herons I could see when I coughed and 5 took off with 4 alighting in a tree on the opposite side with good views. The fifth just moved further back down our side of the pond. Also a pair of golden crowned kinglets was a pleasant surprise.

Thanks,
Rob O'Connell
