[Maine-birds] Barred Owl, Falmouth Spur

Hello all,
I had the thrill of spotting a Barred Owl, conveniently perched on a branch that stuck way out from the treeline, while on my way to work today. I was going south; his perch was just after the tollbooths, though it was just far enough to where I'd gotten near the speed limit already and couldn't stop in time. I'd only ever heard these owls before, so it was a real thrill to see one--especially one so visible--even if it was only long enough to recognize his distinctive shape and coloring.
