Around two pm Thursday observed an Iceland gull hanging around with Herring and GBBGulls on the rocks at Nubble Light in York. Had no scope with me to decipher details. Lots of bird activity in the busy surf. At least 4 Harlequins, lots of black scoters, eiders, etc. A couple of great cormorants in the mix, long-tails, rb mergs. No alcids noted, though a possible guillemot flyby out of the corner of my eye. Dave Tucker, Kittery Pt.
