[Maine-birds] Rockland PINK-FOOTED GEESE, SNOW GOOSE - yes, 12 - 12:30pm

After searching fruitlessly for the flock of Canada Geese with which the PINK-FOOTED GEESE and SNOW GOOSE have been hanging out, my husband Paul and I located the group in the water (and on the beach) off the public landing/park on Mechanic St. In Rockland. At one point the SNOW GOOSE flew over Paul's head and into a field, where it poked around all by itself for a while, very close to where he was standing. By the time we left, the Snow Goose was back on the beach, and the Pink-footed Geese had woken up from a beach nap and rejoined the geese in the water.

We also couldn't help but notice that big flocks of American Robins seem to have invaded the Midcoast the past few days.
