Pat S and I were there on Thursday of this week.
The road in was open and good to travel with my van.
We had to wade - ankle deep - in a few spots on the road out to the "Vireo" corner. Boots are a good idea.
The road to the left at that far corner was okay all the way to the lake area.
The first road to the left that goes down to the river - we did not try as the water was much deeper at its beginning.
The Vireo did not show itself when we went in, but sang and filtered around in the trees for several minutes near its usual spot when we were on our way out.
The mosquitos were VERY NUMEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the first time I have succumbed to wearing a head net in my many trips to the bog!! ;-(
