[Maine-birds] MDI FOYs

A number of recent First-Of-Year birds here on Mount Desert Island:

 

Wednesday, an Eastern Phoebe was in Brookside Cemetery in Somesville and a Chipping Sparrow was in Town Hill.

 

Yesterday, an American Bittern and a pair of Wood Ducks were at Great Meadow in Acadia National Park.

 

Today, an Osprey at Hamilton Pond, Belted Kingfisher in Bar Harbor, Hermit Thrush was in downtown Bar Harbor, Savannah Sparrow at MDI High School, and Brown-headed Cowbird in Hulls Cove.
