[Maine-birds] Thrasher in Berwick

A brown thrasher on a suet feeder right outside the window startled me as I passed through a room yesterday. It was back in the tended yard today and sang later from the overgrown "back acre."

Thrashers have been a yard bird 16 of our 21 years here, and every year since 2013. Most recent arrivals have been between April 19 and 25, though last year was May 5. April 11 would be the earliest appearance ever, but for the aberrant March 3, 2001.
