[Maine-birds] K'bunk plains at dusk

Thanks to all who replied to my inquiry about E Whip-poor-will crepuscular calls at the Plains.

I'll report that four of us tried tonight, persisting just over an hour after sunset (7:58 pm). We stayed near the parking area as others had reported good success hearing birds from there. Neither whip-poor-will nor woodcocks graced us with their presence. We did hear an Upland Sandpiper sing just once in failing light at 8:34 but never saw it. The moon had not yet risen when we left.
