My apologies for being a sporadic, unorganized birder. I have a deep respect for organized birders.
That said, I love birds and here is what I have seen on Monhegan this week:

Indigo Bunting
Yellow Rumped Warblers
Song Sparrows
Chipping Sparrows
White Crowned Sparrows
White Throated Sparrows
Baltimore Orioles
Orchard Orioles
Parulas
Eider Ducks
Goldfinches
American Kestrels
Merlin
Eastern Kingbirds
Phoebes
Bobolinks
Brown Thrashers
Bald Eagles
Rose Breasted Grosbeak
Mockingbirds

Comments...
I have not seen a Hummingbird yet.
A friend of mine saw a Harrier over the meadow.
A pair of Mockingbirds are nesting behind my house. I love them.
It has been very windy since Friday. I have never seen such a windy May.

Many Happy Returns,
Donna
