[Maine-birds] Re: York County Siskins-and in Liberty

Have had a regular flock of 5-20 Siskins this year in Liberty. Also regular Goldfinches but usually <10, compared to higher numbers of Goldfinches last year. I had not had a Siskin in 7-8 years until this year. Happy to see them!

Hey folks,

I've had an impressive "charm" of Pine Siskins in my yard, trees and at my feeders for most of 2023 so far. The group totals anywhere from 15-40 birds most days. I live aout 3.5 miles from the coast and just a mile from Mount Agamenticus in York, Maine.

I'm curious if others are finding decent-sized groups of siskins this winter in S. Maine?

Also, if there are any local folks who want a peek at some siskins, you're welcome to text me (# below) and we can arrange for you to come by (no guarantees, of course).
