Indigo Bunting just now in the yard, makes up for the dead one I found on the road last week.

Maine-birds is an email forum devoted to the discussion of birds and birding in the state of Maine. The primary function of the list is to provide an efficient means of reporting wild bird sightings in the state.
The BREWER'S SPARROW is still being seen on Monhegan Island this morning (5/26), in the garden behind the library. There is still time to catch a boat!
Good birding,

--After several attempts, this sora finally struck a pose for me.It would call as I walked past, stopped to look, and not see. Then, moving on it would call again. Several cycles of this behavior had me concerned that it might be wooing me! After leaving, then returning twenty minutes later, I saw it feeding just outside it's calling cover.Exhausting, but fun.Cheers,Dave
