Re: [Maine-birds] Sora at Essex St Marsh

I believe I saw Dave's little friend yesterday afternoon, or there are two of them.  Mine was in a marshy area across the path from the main marsh, on the western side of the trail.

After several attempts, this sora finally struck a pose for me.

It would call as I walked past, stopped to look, and not see. Then,
moving on it would call again. Several cycles of this behavior had me concerned that it might be wooing me! After leaving, then returning twenty minutes later, I saw it feeding just outside it's calling cover.

Exhausting, but fun.

Cheers,
Dave
