I've been hearing and seeing Pine Grosbeaks in small numbers around Bangor's Little City area now for about 2 weeks, but their numbers yesterday and today in both Orono and Bangor was impressive.
There were 60+ at the UMO Ornamental Gardens yesterday, a flyover of about 8 in the Witter Road/University Forest area, and 15 more seen this morning in Bangor on Montgomery Street.
Additionally, there have flyovers of small flocks of White-winged Crossbills, again in the Little City area.
Redpolls still not around yet.
