[Maine-birds] Bethel - yes Pine Grosbeaks on Main Street.

Oh yes.  Here, too.

Happy  Thanksgiving, the   Pine  Grosbeak  Irruption was   very evident on Main Street in Bethel today as  human throngs  trooped  in  to the Bethel  Foodliner for their  last  minute stuff.

There are   3   wonderful  very  persistent  fruit   crabapples right  out  front  and  I counted more than a dozen birds unconcernedly feeding around 11 AM this  morning in spite  of the hustle and  bustle.

We also typically host a late  February gang of  Cedar and  Bohemian Waxwings in these  same  trees.

Kudos to whomever  chose these  street-side tree replacements  after  the Bradford Pears didn't survive.
